Quickstart guide

• Step 1: Download and install Sun's Java version 1.5 or above if missing.


• Step 2: Download Trustee2ACL from the download page.


• Step 3: Unpack the downloaded file.


• Step 4: In the unpacked directory find the file trustee2acl.jar and run it.


• Step 5: After the program has started fill in the appropriate fields for the trustee and the acl configuration.


• Step 6: Click the "Convert to ACL" button.


• Step 7: Review the generated ACL bash script.


• Step 8: If satisfied with the generated scripts content, then run it from the command line.


• Step 9: Done. Test the permissions.
